]]> You can start immediately at a higher level if you meet the following conditions:

  • Straight to WSET Level 2 if you can already name and distinguish the different types and styles of wines.
    • WSET wine: the different types and styles of wines.
    • WSET spirits: the different types of spirits and the base ingredients.
  • Direct entry to WSET Level 3 if you have already “successfully” completed another “certified” intermediate course.
    It is assumed that you have a good knowledge of WSET Level 2. Therefore, we recommend you purchase the WSET Level 2 book to read and prepare yourself before you start the WSET Level 3 course.
  • Direct progression to WSET Level 4 wine is NOT possible. You must be in possession of the WSET Level 3 wine certificate.

  • The first question to ask is whether you want to take a WSET wine spirit or sake course.
  • Then you determine at which level you can start. Do you already have a solid prior knowledge of the subject? Then you can directly join WSET Level 2. For sake we only offer WSET Level 1. Have you “successfully completed“ a long-term certified wine training (Sommelier Conseil, Vinologist, etc.)? Then you can start directly at WSET Level 3. Please mention this in the comments box when registering.
  • Then you decide whether you want to follow the course “ONLINE” or “CLASSICAL“. A “BLENDED” training is a combination of classroom tasting sessions and virtual recordings for the theory, which you can follow @home or @work and where you determine the time that you study.

    ]]>     For the classroom and blended courses, a minimum number of participants is required to start and there is also a maximum number of places available. Once the course is full, this will be indicated in the overview. Be quick is the message here :-).

    You can register for the online courses until the specified deadline. There is no minimum number of participants required to start, the course always goes ahead with certainty. There is also no limit to the number of participants.
