Aimed at:	This course is aimed at the more advanced students, either holding the WSET^® Intermediate Certificate, OR able to prove successful participation in a similar course or possessing suitable equivalent experience (written demand required at info@winewise.be). This course covers key aspects of viticulture and vinification in detail, as well as the main wines and wine regions of the world. The programme provides a thorough understanding of the global wine industry, labelling and regulations. The Systematic approach to Tasting is widely used to train analytical tasting skills. As such, the Advanced Certificate is the perfect next step to follow the Intermediate level, emphasizing insight, analysis and actuality.

The WSET^® Level 3 qualification provides in-depth product knowledge of wines and spirits required to underpin job skills and competencies, for professional use as well as for the wine enthusiast.

Assesment:

The Level 3 Certificate will be assessed by a WSET^® Awards-set closed-book examination paper comprising 50 multiple-choice questions and 4 short essay-type questions and an internally set and assessed blind tasting of two wines. Upon succesful completion of these papers, candidates will receive the internationally approved WSET^® Advanced Certificate.
